We decided to undertake a similar project to last year which was issuing winter kits to people who are homeless. Each kit comprises of a folding backpack with a scarf, hat, gloves, socks and hand warmers, however, this year we have included a wind up torch.

On talking with other charities and people who are homeless it became clear that a torch is something that is needed in winter.

We have to date made up 100 kits and have started to distribute them around Greater Manchester.
